I just rearranged furniture and such so now I do school in the dining room, but all the books and stuff are stored in my bedroom (which is pretty big) and now the living room is open for the baby and preschool! Smiley

For the record, I did not MAKE my DH help, I simply asked if he would mind, and he helped.  Though I suspect it was to keep me from moving all that heavy stuff by myself Smiley

I can usually get my hubby to help move stuff if I just start to move it myself! If I waited around for him to do it, well.....let's just say he stays busy! lol!

That's basically how it is here too, if I say I'm moving it with or without him he'll help move it because he doesn't want me getting hurt (mostly because he can't keep up with everything I do if I'm unable to do it).  If I just ask he'll usually say he doesn't feel like it.

Since I hurt my back my hubby is doing EVERYTHING! I feel so bad for him. I hate being unable to do anything. I think he appreciates our "normal" chaos though and I know he realizes that I really do do a lot!

I know that feeling.  I was useless for a couploe of weeks after the baby was born, and hubby was doing it all plus working.  All I did was take care of the kids.  I felt bad, but hubby was happy to do it because he said I do so much it was the least he could do to help.  He realized how much I really do around here even if the house is in disarray a little sometimes.

we use the kitchen. I have a small table so we just push it aside. 2 years ago, I went to a school auction and got some school desks. We have 2 desks. I have a cubbie area on my spare countertop. I use 4 kitchen cabinets to store art supplies, flashcards, etc.... I use a dry eraser board and have a calendar hanging up... I like to keep it neat. My cubbies on the counter hold all of my teacher manuals, my binder, and my lesson plan books.. I will post a pic soon Smiley

Oh Carrie, seriously, don't feel bad...that's not all that bad. If either one of my cameras were working I would post my desk. It's a behemoth solid oak desk with a hutch and it's loaded down with books, papers, packages, couponing stuff, mail. It's a nightmare and DH hates it.
