I am just curious if you all have a favorite planner? I have heard great things about Homeschool Tracker. I am going to use Well Planned Day next year. Have any of you actually ever used it? If so, did you like it?

There are so many bells and whistles with this planner. I just want to make sure it is not just a beautiful thing to look at.  Wink

Yea, and Rebecca from Home Educating Family is working out something for me where I can offer a free subscription with every order til December! I am going to add a banner ad somewhere on here with it next week.

Awesome! THe comments I read from others is that what sold them was the free magazine as well! I love homeschool magazines, that is a great deal...

I have found that I am much more organized and there is less clutter when I go as paperless as possible.  I've even thought about scanning in all my kids' work so I don't have huge file boxes of their work sitting in the house and the garage.

I looked into the Well-Planned Day, but it appeared to me in the preview that there wasn't much room for writing. When you go eclectic, you can't just write "Lesson 6" or whatever. I need a lot of space!

I guess I'm old fashioned. I write everything out on a weekly calendar I printed from donnayoung.com. I tried homeschooltracker.com but it just aggrevated me.

I got my WPD planner and think it is GREAT!  I think I'm going to use it more of a "we accomplished this" kind of thing this year to keep a running record of everything we got done and of course I'll use it to record outings and appointments too.  I love all the little fun sections!  Way cool and it got here FAST!

That's a GREAT idea! I never thought of that! I couldn't make the WPD planner work for me last year and now I wish I had done this! GREAT idea!!

I just ordered mine a couple of days ago! I can't wait for it to come in... I too am eclectic so not sure how to write in all the lessons... but it can help me get a general idea... I am excited just to be able to use it for the meal plans and daily everyday things... I think/hope it will help me stay on track!

I have a sheet I printed out that looks similar to a PS schedule, just lists what subjects on which days.  Then on the back of that I have a more detailed schedule that tells me what to do on each day (but it's very basic and doesn't need to be remade each week)
