I have discovered the free version of homeschool tracker and love it, but I was wondering if anyone has purchased the pro addition and if it was worth the money?  The additions to the paid version seems neat, but unsure whether I want to save up for the other version or stick with the basic.

I have the basic and love it. Never saw a reason to buy the pro version. I used it for a highschooler who went back to PS and I just printed out all the grade reports and it was perfect.

I just started using it this year, previously I kept track of everything on paper.  I am just using the basic version and it sufficient for our needs for now.

It gets rave reviews. I posted the same question on my hs association website, and friend told me she just purchased the $5 Pro 30-day trial version and she'll let me know how it goes. I, for one, did not like the Basic version when I tried it 3 years ago, and have stayed with paper. But with three kids now homeschooling, I was looking for something a little more organized than paper and less expensive than ink (in the long run).

I *really* want to try out Edu-track because they have the pop-in lesson plans all ready to go for tons of different curricula. But it is expensive also. And it gets *very* mixed reviews. I'm not willing to spend that kind of money on something I'm uncertain about.

I'll update with what my friend says about Tracker Pro.

I think I saw ur post on the VBHE forum?  That's the reason I tried it, but I like the free version but I would like to have grades averaged by percentage (tests 40%, etc).

Please let me know what you find out about it! =)
