Okay, I finally got around to joining paperbackswap and listed some books last night. Surprisingly they weren't hard to part with like I thought they would be...

Anyway, I have a request that I accepted and there are so many shipping options that I am confused! I have read how to do this and that, but how do I just send the stupid book the cheapest without extra PBS fees? Help please!

Just put the book in a  bubble mailer, or tyvek envelope and take it to the post office and send it media mail.  You don't have to send it with D/C and you don't have to send it through PBS postage.

Just print out the wrapper with the address on it and tape it onto the front of a bubble mailer (or use the paper as the wrapper if it's a small book).  Choose the no extra cost options.  It will always tell you the amount of postage it needs to send it the cheapest way.  If it's a light book, you could put stamps on it and mail it from your mailbox.  If it's a heavier book, you'll need to take it to the post office.

Either way, print out any wrapper that doesn't charge any fees so you have the address.  Cut it out and tape it to the front of your package.  Put on the correct amount of postage, and mail.

I thought I'd try to do the wrapper like they suggest, but it wouldn't work right for me on the large paperbacks. I ended up re-printing and just using the label form on a mailer. Thanks for the help! Leigh
