Well the Prudent Homemaker still puts me to shame, but I'm so pleased I with my deals today, I just have to crow a leeeetle bit  Thanks for putting up with me...

I hit 4 grocery stores today: Piggly Wiggly, Bi-Lo, Kroger, and Food Lion...whew, I am tired, but I'm so psyched I can't sleep lol

Got $252 worth of groceries
Paid $135
Saved $117   about 46% 

And it was the expensive stuff too...got a gazillion tons of ground beef, cokes, cheese

Did you do the 1.99/lb sirloin deal at FL ?? I have been meaning to go over there, but I need the butcher to cut it up and they are always closed by the time I get there

No, actually that was what I was planning to do, until I checked my southernsavers lists. Bi-Lo had ground beef for 1.79 (no limits!!) and Pig had it for 1.49 (limit two with $10 purchase).

Carrie, I LOVE southernsavers! I just wish they had a Pig page...it would save me so much time! I thought they used to when I first went to the site a while back And I have to drive a LONG way to get all the deals--about 45 min to an hour away. I pack a cooler in the trunk.
