Me and my Hubby!

WWW

Before I had the baby I was so "good" about my routine. SO good, actually, it became like an addiction!

Every Sunday I would get 2 papers and in the evening after the house was quiet, I would print my list from www.southernsavers.com and clip/print all of my coupons. I did my shopping every Monday. Since we live pretty close to everything, it was easy to hit 3 stores and be back in 2 hours.

I would first go to Walgreens where I purchased most of my tolitries/personal care items. I often got things for free w/BOGO and coupons together. Then off to Publix, my favorite store.

I save a lot at Publix! I love how they take competitor coupons and printed coupons. I get most of what I need from Publix. When I was done there, I ventured off to Winn Dixie, which I really DISLIKE. I hate the layout, the aisles don't make sense.  BUT they have good meat sales and we like their beef better than Publix.

When I started couponing, I initially saved on average of $400 per month, EVERY month. I don't do as well now because I cannot keep with my routine, and going to 3 stores is often too much with the baby!

My stock pile has dwindled down and for the first time in years I have run out of deodorant and toothpaste. I really hope to get back on track!

I am so happy you set up coupon forum !!

My coupon routine has changed a bit, I used to dumpster dive in the newspaper recycling bin  Embarrassed After running into one too many people I know, I stopped. They looked at me like I was nuts, then I would have to play it off somehow. LOL

Now I buy all my q's from  http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com or ebay. It is SOOO much easier. I only buy the q's I want and how many I want. Then they come to my mailbox all clipped and ready to go into my coupon binder. I don't even mess with buying a newpaper anymore.

I used to get two newspapers for all the coupons, but then one of our papers went out of business.  So now I buy the one Sunday paper I can get, and I use coupons.com for printable coupons as well.  I can almost always get our favorite yoplait yogurt for .23 per container (compared to the normal price of .86) but this past week I was able to purchase them for only .20 cents per container!

I used to get two papers too! But they would not deliver 2 and on occassion my dh would forget to get my papers (it was part of HIS routine...lol) so I just decided to subscribe to the Sun only paper. I got a good deal for $5 per month.

It seems like the coupons are not as good as they used to be anyway!
